Melissa Jamison

Clean Cities Planner
Melissa Jamison is a Clean Cities Staff member at Centralina. She is a graduate student at UNC Charlotte studying geography and urban planning, and recently graduated with a bachelor of earth & environmental science. Her passion is for social and environmental justice in the community. She led a sustainability-focused Alternative Service Break trip for her college, as well as helped organize environmental justice volunteer events for her fellow students through the Environment & Animals committee on SERVE Team. Her interests also lie in the Women's Energy Network and Women in Clean Energy. She has worked with the Citizens’ Climate Lobby to advocate for renewable resources and lobby in Washington, D.C., and has a dedication to building her leadership skills to better educate the community on sustainable practices.
