Updated Drive Electric Workshop Information

05.13.19

Join us on May 30th to learn about the process of adopting electric vehicles, what funding options are available, and then see the vehicles themselves. We’ll start with an overview of the current market and why there is a need for electric vehicle adoption and then go into the specifics: everything from a dealer’s perspective to siting and other considerations, to installing and finding funding for the infrastructure and vehicles. There will also be a presentation by a fleet manager with experience in managing a large electric vehicle fleet. Speakers will include the NC DAQ, in charge of NC’s VW Settlement money; an electric utility provider; ChargePoint, in collaboration with Guardian Fueling Technologies; Clipper Creek; the City of Charlotte; Advanced Energy; Nissan and more!

Still not sure EVs are right for your fleet? Join in our Q&A session to get answers. Then, head outside after the meeting to speak with dealers and enthusiasts for some personal EV experience.  The meeting will be May 30th at Centralina’s offices; 9815 David Taylor Drive, Charlotte, NC, 28262; from 9:30 to 11:30am with the vehicle showcase afterwards.
