Clean Fuel Advanced Technology Project Funding Announced

01.29.15

The North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center at NC State University announced the results of a call for projects through the Clean Fuel Advanced Technology (CFAT) Project. More than $1,340,000 has been awarded for transportation-related emission reductions. The projects in total will remove nearly 8.3 metric tons of pollutants annually. To put this into perspective, the reduction is equal to removing 108 vehicles from North Carolina roads. We would like to recognize and congratulate six of the fourteen CFAT grant awardees that are located in our nine-county region.

  • City of Charlotte Fire Department

  • Clean Energy Corporation

  • Gaston County

  • Mecklenburg County Air Quality

  • Ryder Truck Rental, Inc.

  • UNC Charlotte
