Help Protect the DOE Clean Cities Program

Attend Energy Independence Summit

February 10-12, 2020

Your participation in the upcoming Energy Independence Summit 2020 is critical to maintaining momentum for the DOE Clean Cities program and other key federal clean transportation policies. With your support last year we were able to save the Clean Cities program, which had been targeted for elimination. The DOE also provided a substantial increase in funding for coalition support contracts. This would not have been possible without TEP’s leadership, your support, and the work that takes place at the annual Energy Independence Summit.

The upcoming Summit also presents an important opportunity to advance other federal priorities, including; (1) maintaining funding for the EPA Diesel Emission Reduction Grants; (2) Restoring the expired tax incentives for alternative fuels and vehicles; (3) Protecting and advancing the Renewable Fuel Standard; (4) Ensuring that the DOT Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) program resumes its funding for cleaner vehicles; and (5) Including clean transportation funding in any new infrastructure legislation.

industry partners can talk about how the Clean Cities Program, the alternative fuel tax incentives, and other federal policies are enabling them to implement more job-creating projects utilizing cleaner fuels and vehicles.

Stakeholders are eligible to save up to $100 on fees if they register before early bird registration ends December 20th.

Please refer to our website or contact Ken Brown at ken [at] akbstrategies [dot] com or (202) 674-7777 if you have questions or would like additional information about the Summit. We look forward to seeing you in DC!

Hundreds of clean transportation leaders will be in D.C. for Energy Independence Summit 2020 - we hope that you will be there too.
