Alternative Fuel Vehicle Demonstration & Tailgate in Raleigh

Wrap Up Drive Electric Week in Raleigh!

NC Plug-In Vehicle Owners and Friends, please join the NC Clean Energy Technology Center to finish National Drive Electric Week with an alternative fuel vehicle demonstration and tailgate at the NC State University versus West Virginia University football game. Plug-in electric, natural gas, propane, and ethanol powered vehicles will be showcased. Bring your plug-in vehicle to the Friday, September 14 driver meet-up and car show, which is open to the public, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For game day on Saturday, September 15, due to the game day congestion and traffic, if you do not have tickets for the game or parking arrangements, it is not advised that you come visit the alternative fuel vehicle show. Both events will be held outside the new Close-King Indoor Practice Facility next to Carter-Finley Stadium.

Show vehicles TBD. Current confirmed vehicles include Nissan Leaf, Chrysler Pacifica PHEV, Chevrolet Bolt, and Zero Motorcycle.
