National Biodiesel Board
The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) is the national trade organization representing the biodiesel industry in the United States. The mission of the National Biodiesel Board is to advance the interests of its members by creating sustainable biodiesel industry growth. NBB provides information on biodiesel availabilty 24 hours a day via their biodiesel hotline, 866-BIODIESEL.

Assessment of Waste Fat-Derived Biofuel for Use in Municipal Vehicles: Biodiesel Feedstock Evaluation Initiative
Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition collaborated with the UNC Charlotte Environmental Assistance Office to fund a small research project which evaluated the feasibility of using municipal brown grease and the glycerol by-product from biodiesel production as feedstocks for biodiesel. The research included a literature review and a bench scale demonstration of biodiesel production. Dr. Helene Hilder produced this report for CCFC summarizing results.

Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition conducted two biodiesel pilot programs in the Fall 2006 with the Gaston County Landfill (off-road equipment only) and the Town of Matthews (both on and off-road vehicles). This white paper is a summary of these programs.
